NQ Outdoor Solutions is a family-run outdoor services business in Mackay, Queensland. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to the details you send us through this website. If anything here is unclear, ring Nathan on 0459 896 327 and ask.

The quote form

When you request a quote we ask for:

your name
your phone number
your email address (optional)
your suburb
the service you need, and anything you tell us about the job

We use those details for one thing: to get back to you about your quote. Your enquiry is stored in the job and enquiry system we use to run the business, so we do not lose track of it, and we may email or text you about that enquiry. We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a marketing list.

The review form

Reviews are published publicly. If we approve your review, your first name, your suburb, your star rating and your review text appear on this website for anyone to read. Please do not include anything in a review that you would not want published, such as your address or phone number.

Every review is checked by a person before it appears. We only publish genuine reviews from real customers. If you change your mind, ask us and we will take your review down.

Who else sees your details

We are a small business and we use ordinary third-party services to run the website. Your details may pass through:

our website host and the enquiry system that stores your quote request
our database and email providers, which store reviews and send us a notification when one arrives
Clearway Apps, the agency that builds and maintains this website for us
Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Clarity, for the website measurement described below

Each of these is used only to run the site and answer your enquiry.

Measurement and cookies

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (through Google Tag Manager) and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use the website, which pages are useful, and where things are confusing. Clarity also records anonymised session replays and heatmaps of how visitors move through pages. These tools set cookies and collect technical information such as your approximate location, device, browser and the pages you visit. They are used for website improvement, not to identify you personally.

You can block cookies in your browser settings, or use your browser's private mode, and the site will still work.

How long we keep things

We keep quote enquiries while we are dealing with them and for as long as we need them for our business records. Published reviews stay up until you or we remove them.

Getting your details corrected or deleted

Ask us and we will do it. Email info@nqoutdoorsolutions.com.au or ring 0459 896 327 and tell us what you want corrected or removed. There is no charge and you do not need to give a reason.

Changes to this page

If we change how the website handles your details, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
